OVERVIEW

RAVA is a company I created as a basis for my UI Design Challenge. I established the entire creative direction to aid with the brand guidelines. This is an ongoing personal project of mine.

Pick the last three letters of your first name and then first three letters of your last name

"R, A, E," if we're including my official first name Jessica Rae, and "V, E, R." I've always been a fan of "A" and "V" names because of its history with kerning, and since there were no parameters to use duplicate letters I came up with "RAVA".

I decided I wanted to create a company with a twist on home decor or wallpaper because I wanted to explore the idea of AR and visualizing home decor before you purchase. Throughout several weeks I applied different design methodologies to solidify the creative direction.

I applied the same methodologies when experimenting with logo designs. I did not want to solidify one logo design because I wanted to design a range of user interfaces with different logos that would fit the brand.
