WorkStream

AuditBoard is a primarily desktop app. Users can go onto their mobile device and access the app, but many of the functionalities are illegible and will not work. Our currently WorkStream page on mobile is illegible.

Understanding the Problem
AuditBoard is enterprise software specific to the auditor user, but there are use cases where users are no auditors. These users need to quickly submit a file to our application and might want to access it through their mobile device. Our notification emails are sent to owners and they will view it on their mobile devices but are unable to upload files because of our apps lack of mobile accessibility. Our currently WorkStream page on mobile is illegible.

My task was to redesign WorkStream to be more mobile friendly so that users can access WorkStream on their phones and upload any files or answer any questions on the go. Redesign is the challenge here because I am not redesigning all of WorkStream, but rather I was redesigning the CSS code for responsiveness.
The first part of this task was implementing the new WorkStream changes that were designed by our UI Designer. I quickly made front-end changes to the WorkStream overlay so the mobile device would be updated with new content.

HTML/SCSS WorkStream implemented
I went through WorkStream to figure out the different types of questions that would be asked and I redesigned the layout with Sketch. I was very cautious of what would be CSS changes or structure changes. Once the changes were approved, I went into the code and made WorkStream mobile friendly. WorkStream is the only mobile friendly version of the app and has streamlined how strong our app can be if we incorporated mobile friendly versions.
